DESCRIPTION:Tri-County Council for Southern MD Presents the 7th Annual Southern Maryland Hiring Event. This year’s event will have 50 Hiring Businesses ready to meet face to face with talented\, skilled job seekers to fill current company openings. Check this page frequently for updates of participating employers. Everyone is welcome during the Hiring Event General Admission from 2:00 pm – 4:30 pm! \nThis year’s hiring event wants to put you in front of the businesses for a scheduled one-on-one interview. Each company will have at least 10 scheduled interviews the morning of the event from 9:00 am – 12:00 noon. To be considered for an interview the day of the hiring event you must submit your tailored resume and cover letter to tccsmdgethired@tccsmd.org. Those candidates meeting the qualifications outlined by the company will be contacted for a phone pre-interview. Upon successfully completing a phone interview you will be invited to attend a “Hiring Event Workshop” in which an interview time will be assigned. Again\, everyone is welcome during the Hiring Event General Admission from 2:00 pm – 4:30 pm! \nDo your homework…research companies of interest and their openings prior to the Hiring Event! \nBring plenty of resumes and dress professionally! \n**Be sure to check out the Facebook page daily for a current list of hiring businesses. \n
